This year, childcare providers are getting even more out of their benefits. The CCPU Board of Trustees have increased some of the benefits to help pay your healthcare costs and keep your money in your pocket.
If you have not emailed your proof of coverage for 2025, send your documents to [email protected] today. Updated qualified health plan documentation is required to continue benefits in 2025!
The changes made impact providers enrolled in the following healthcare plans:
Qualified Health Plan | 2024 Benefits | 2025 Benefits |
Employer-Sponsored Health Plans | Up to $100/month premium reimbursement | Up to $200/month premium reimbursement |
Tricare | Up to $100/month premium reimbursement | Up to $200/month premium reimbursement |
Medi-Cal /Medi-Medi | $100/month for permissible | $200/month for permissible |
Medi-Care / Medi-Care Advantage | Up to 174.80/month – Part B, and Up to $50/month -Part D premium reimbursement |
Up to 185/month – Part B, and Up to $100/month -Part D premium reimbursement |
When you request your monthly premium reimbursements in 2025, you may have additional funds depending on the premium you reported to us during End of Year Proof of coverage submissions.
For example: Provider Dana provided proof of coverage for 2025 that confirmed Medi-Care enrollment with a total premium of $250/month. Her Part B was $185 and her Part D was $65/month.
According to the new benefit limits, Dana is eligible to be reimbursed for the total $250/month. This is more than she would have gotten last year, with the total amount reimbursable as $224.80 (174.80 for Part B and a maximum of $50 for Part D).
If you are a provider with Medi-Cal or Medi-Medi, instead of having $100/month to use towards permissible expenses, you now have $200.00/month. For information on some services and products that are eligible permissible expenses, review the guidelines here in English or here in Spanish.
